OUR MISSION

The Mission of Holy Light Missionary Baptist Church is to provide refuge and services to improve the well-being of all those in and connected with this Church and the surrounding community; to be distinguished by our Words and our Deeds as stated in our motto: (We are) “The Church Where Everybody is Somebody and God’s Word Is Law.”

OUR PUOPOSE

To study God’s Word, To win souls for Christ, To serve the community and help  others.

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” - II Timothy 2:15.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”  - Romans 10:17

OUR HOPE

Our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and Righteousness.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord.” - Jeremiah 17:7

WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the inspired word of God and the only authority for our lives and conduct. That  “ ... God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...” as the only sacrifice for sin.  John 3:16

"Love is ACTION." The ultimate expression of worship is to live an everyday life that practices the love of Jesus Christ.  "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, .... all thy soul, ... all thy strength, ... all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself."  - Luke 10:27
