African American Church Evangelism Institute Zoom Meeting
Tuesday, July 12, 2022 (7:00pm)
I have begun participating in the institute as part of a 18 month cohort with our pastors in the nation about learning tools to enhance the mission the church to become a conversion church.
The African American Church Evangelism Institute is a movement of African American churches reaching out with the gospel to impact the world – Community by Community!
Holy Light Evangelism Team will have second meeting on Second Tuesday in July 12th at 7pm. Zoom Information will be sent out.
Faith In Action Ministries presents 3rd Annual Walk of Faith

Are you ready to glorify God with us? Bridging gaps of division through demonstration our Faith in Action in a 2 mile prayer, praise & worship walk. Promoting peace, unity and community empowerment.
The Day will entail resource fair, photo booth, prayer warriors, live performances, & free outdoor shopping popup open to the community.
63rd Holy Light Church Anniversary

We will be celebrating our 63rd anniversary and are blessed that Rev. Darrell Armstrong, pastor of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey will bring the message. We are asking each member to make a special love offering of $63.00 for this service. This offering will go towards the installation and purchase of a new sanctuary entry door.
We thank God for all God has accomplished and allowed us to come back and re-open for in-person worship and we thank God for what is to come.
We welcome current members, former members and visitors to be part of our celebration. We also after our worship service will be preparing a meal so we can fellowship together after the service.

California State Baptist Convention "Back to the Future" 2022 In-Person Session at Christ Second Baptist Church in Long Beach

Church Property Improvement Updates
We have completed the remodeling of our access to our upstairs media room replacing the current pull down ladder access with a safer stairs and railing access.
There are also plans underway to install new entry sanctuary door.
