CONVALESCENT HOMES OUTREACH

The Convalescent Homes Outreach Ministry visits numerous convalescent homes and members who are sick and shut-in. Starting at 10:00 AM on the 2nd Saturday of each month Songs of Praises and the Word of God is shared during the visits. Gifts are provided to patients for holidays and special occasions.
10:00 am: St. Andrews Health Care Center
11:00 am: Visits to Holy Light Members
12:45 pm - 1:30 pm: Lunch Break
2:00 pm: Greenfield Care Center of Gardena
CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Committee Chairman: Deacon Rodney Weber
Check on church members who may be ill, home-bound, hospitalized, etc. via phone calls, sending cards, and visits. Oral Reports and updates are given to the church congregation.
BLOCK PARTY
When: The last Saturday in January
Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Where: Held at Holy Light Missionary Baptist Church

“Growing the Body of Christ” — Luke 14:13. This event is sponsored in conjunction with neighboring churches on the 4th Saturday in January. Offering: Food Give Away, Clothing, Job Resources, Prayer, Witnessing, Music, Drama Dance, Health & Nutrition, Hair Styling, Children’s Center and many other activities!
